Executive thesis

ASBIS Enterprises is undergoing one of the most important transformations in its history.

For years the company was primarily perceived as a distributor of smartphones, computers, processors, storage devices and consumer electronics across Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS region and emerging markets.

That description is becoming increasingly incomplete.

The global artificial-intelligence infrastructure boom has created extraordinary demand for GPU servers, processors, memory, enterprise storage and complete server systems.

ASBIS has become a direct beneficiary of this investment cycle.

Foxorox thesis: Approximately 72% of ASBIS's entire year-over-year revenue increase in Q2 2026 came from servers and server blocks alone. Server revenue reached approximately $723 million in a single quarter and became the company's largest product category. This changes the investment profile of ASBIS. The company should increasingly be viewed as an indirect European AI-infrastructure play rather than simply a traditional electronics distributor. Company directs a significant portion of its sales to post-Soviet countries, which we view as an elevated counterparty and geopolitical risk. In our assessment, adverse political, economic or regulatory developments in any of these markets could weaken the financial position of local customers or counterparties. As a result, the company may be required to recognize additional provisions or impairment charges related to doubtful receivables and the potential insolvency of selected counterparties.

1. Q2 2026 – the strongest quarter in ASBIS history

ASBIS reported Q2 2026 revenue of approximately $1.697 billion.

This represented year-over-year growth of approximately 79%.

Q2 metric Q2 2025 Q2 2026 YoY change Foxorox interpretation
Revenue $949M $1.697B +79% Exceptional acceleration driven primarily by servers and smartphones.
EBITDA ~$26M ~$66M ~+156% Operating earnings expanded much faster than revenue.
EBIT ~$23.5M ~$62.6M ~+166% Strong operating leverage despite the low-margin distribution model.
Net profit ~$12.1M ~$44.3M ~+265% Net income increased more than 3.5 times year over year.

2. H1 2026 already exceeded full-year 2025 earnings

The quarterly result was not an isolated event.

During the first six months of 2026 ASBIS generated approximately $2.965 billion of revenue and $80.6 million of net income.

H1 metric H1 2025 H1 2026 YoY change
Revenue ~$1.686B $2.965B +76%
Gross profit ~$115M ~$229M ~+99%
EBIT ~$39.9M ~$117.1M ~+194%
Net profit ~$19.4M $80.6M ~+315%
H1 2026 Revenue $2.97B
H1 Net Profit $80.6M
Net Profit Growth ~+315%

The importance of the H1 result becomes clearer when compared with 2025.

ASBIS generated approximately $60.2 million of net income during the whole of 2025.

After only six months of 2026, the company had already generated approximately 34% more profit than during the previous full year.

3. What generated the demand?

The most important answer is:

AI server infrastructure.

ASBIS experienced extraordinary demand for complete servers, GPU-based server systems and related infrastructure.

The increase is much larger than the growth in ordinary consumer electronics.

Product category Q2 2025 Q2 2026 Increase Approx. contribution to total growth
Servers / server blocks ~$188M ~$723M +$535M ~72%
Smartphones ~$388M ~$526M +$138M ~18%
Laptops ~$66.5M ~$82.5M +$16M ~2%
HDD ~$17M ~$26.8M +$9.8M ~1%
Other categories ~+$48M ~6%

The key number: ASBIS revenue increased by approximately $747 million year over year in Q2. Servers alone accounted for approximately $535 million of that increase. That means roughly 72 cents of every additional dollar of Q2 revenue came from the server business.

4. Servers have overtaken smartphones

This is the structural change investors should pay attention to.

Historically smartphones represented one of the largest categories inside ASBIS.

That changed dramatically in 2026.

Category Q2 2026 revenue Approx. share of total revenue
Servers / server blocks ~$723M ~42.6%
Smartphones ~$526M ~31.0%
Other products ~$448M ~26.4%

Servers therefore became the single largest product category inside the company.

5. The scale of the server boom is extraordinary

The magnitude of the change becomes even clearer when current server sales are compared with the company's historical business.

ASBIS generated approximately:

$723 MILLION OF SERVER REVENUE IN Q2 2026

Historical product data suggests that cumulative server sales during the entire 2020–2024 period were only around the same order of magnitude.

In practical terms, ASBIS sold roughly as much server infrastructure during one quarter as it had sold over several previous years combined. That is not normal incremental growth. It represents a structural change in the business mix.

6. Why AI creates demand far beyond GPUs

The artificial-intelligence investment cycle is often reduced to NVIDIA GPUs.

In reality, a GPU cluster requires an entire infrastructure stack:

ASBIS participates in several layers of this supply chain.

The company distributes products from major global semiconductor, hardware and infrastructure manufacturers.

This creates a fundamentally different AI investment profile from semiconductor designers.

ASBIS does not need to develop the winning AI architecture.

It can benefit from customers buying infrastructure across multiple vendors.

7. NVIDIA exposure is particularly important

A substantial part of the current server demand is connected with GPU systems.

According to information discussed around the company's results, NVIDIA-based GPU infrastructure represents a very large part of the current AI-server activity.

This creates a useful way to think about ASBIS:

GLOBAL AI CAPEX → NVIDIA / AMD / CPUs / MEMORY / STORAGE → SERVER SYSTEMS → ASBIS DISTRIBUTION

Instead of competing with NVIDIA, ASBIS can participate downstream in the same capital-expenditure cycle.

8. Kazakhstan and CIS are major demand centers

Geography is another important part of the ASBIS investment thesis.

The company has substantial exposure to Central Asia, Eastern Europe and other emerging markets.

The CIS region represented close to 38% of Group revenue during the period.

Kazakhstan became one of the most important individual markets for the company.

Market Q2 2026 trend Foxorox interpretation
Kazakhstan Very strong growth Major server and infrastructure demand.
Ukraine Triple-digit growth Strong technology and infrastructure recovery.
Azerbaijan Triple-digit growth Rapid expansion from a smaller base.
Uzbekistan Exceptional growth Potential long-term Central Asian infrastructure opportunity.
Poland ~+51% Strong processors, HDD and SSD demand.

9. Apple remains important

The AI-server story should not obscure the strength of ASBIS's traditional consumer business.

Smartphone revenue increased from approximately $388 million to around $526 million.

This added roughly $138 million of incremental quarterly revenue.

ASBIS also continued expanding its Apple distribution footprint into additional markets.

Servers and smartphones together therefore generated approximately 90% of Q2 year-over-year revenue growth.

10. The server pipeline suggests demand may continue

One of the most important disclosures is the size of the company's large server-project pipeline.

Server project pipeline >$860M
Q2 server revenue ~$723M
Server YoY growth ~+285%

The pipeline should not automatically be interpreted as guaranteed future revenue in a specific quarter.

However, it strongly suggests that the Q2 acceleration was not simply one isolated order.

11. July suggests momentum continued into Q3

The first available indication from Q3 remained extremely strong.

ASBIS reported preliminary July 2026 revenue of approximately:

$531 MILLION

This represented approximately 89% growth year over year.

July therefore became another record month.

Foxorox interpretation: Q2 was exceptional, but July provides evidence that the growth cycle did not immediately collapse after the quarter ended. This materially increases the probability that H2 2026 earnings remain substantially above historical levels.

12. What could ASBIS earn in 2026?

ASBIS generated approximately $80.6 million of net profit during H1 2026.

A simple annualization gives:

$80.6M × 2 = $161.2M

However, record July revenue and the disclosed server pipeline make it reasonable to test higher scenarios.

Scenario 2026 Net Income USD/PLN assumption Approx. EPS
Conservative $160M 3.65 ~PLN 10.52
Base $180M 3.65 ~PLN 11.84
Bull $200M 3.65 ~PLN 13.15

Foxorox scenario analysis. Assumes approximately 55.5 million shares. These estimates are not company guidance.

13. Valuation scenarios

The change in earnings power creates a very different valuation picture.

2026 Net Income P/E 10× P/E 12× P/E 15× P/E 18×
$160M ~PLN 105 ~PLN 126 ~PLN 158 ~PLN 189
$180M ~PLN 118 ~PLN 142 ~PLN 178 ~PLN 213
$200M ~PLN 132 ~PLN 158 ~PLN 197 ~PLN 237

14. Current valuation indicators

At a share price around the low-to-mid PLN 140s in early September 2026, ASBIS traded at valuation levels roughly around:

Metric Approx. value Foxorox interpretation
Trailing P/E ~17–18× Looks less attractive if historical earnings are used.
Forward P/E – $160M case ~13–14× Reasonable if AI server earnings are partly sustainable.
Forward P/E – $180M case ~12× Potentially attractive relative to current earnings growth.
Price / Sales ~0.4× Typical low multiple for a distribution business.
EV / EBITDA ~11× Needs to be considered against unusually strong earnings growth.

15. Why ASBIS is different from NVIDIA

ASBIS and NVIDIA benefit from the same broad AI infrastructure cycle, but their economics are very different.

Company Role in AI stack Main strength Main weakness
NVIDIA GPU architecture and accelerators Very high margins and technology leadership Premium valuation and architecture concentration
Supermicro Complete AI server systems Direct exposure to GPU-server deployments Hardware competition and execution risk
ASBIS Distribution and deployment ecosystem Benefits from multiple hardware vendors simultaneously Structurally low distribution margins

16. ASBIS may be an overlooked AI proxy

Most investors looking for exposure to AI infrastructure immediately focus on:

ASBIS represents a less obvious part of the same ecosystem.

Its advantage is diversification across hardware manufacturers.

If customers build AI data centers, they require much more than a GPU.

ASBIS can participate in the spending on:

17. Operating leverage is improving

Distribution is traditionally a low-margin business.

For that reason the most interesting element of Q2 is not merely the 79% revenue growth.

The more important observation is that:

This suggests that incremental revenue is currently generating considerable earnings leverage.

If the product mix continues moving toward higher-value server projects, the earnings profile may remain stronger than historical averages.

18. Bull case

In the bullish scenario:

Under this scenario, a valuation around 15× earnings would imply a share price close to PLN 200 under our current assumptions.

19. Base case

The base case does not require Q2's extraordinary growth rate to continue indefinitely.

ASBIS only needs to retain part of the step-change in the server business.

If:

then ASBIS would be generating approximately PLN 11.8 of earnings per share.

At a 15× P/E multiple this would suggest an indicative valuation of approximately PLN 178 per share.

20. Bear case

The major risks are:

The greatest risk is therefore not that Q2 2026 was weak.

It was exceptionally strong.

The key risk is that investors extrapolate extraordinary server growth too far into the future.

21. Foxorox scorecard

Category ASBIS score Comment
Revenue growth ★★★★★ Exceptional Q2 and H1 acceleration.
Earnings growth ★★★★★ Net income growth dramatically exceeds revenue growth.
AI exposure ★★★★★ Servers have become the largest product category.
Valuation ★★★★ Forward valuation appears reasonable if 2026 earnings are sustainable.
Margins ★★★ Distribution remains structurally lower-margin than software or semiconductors.
Geographic opportunity ★★★★★ Strong exposure to underpenetrated Central Asian technology markets.
Balance-sheet / working-capital risk ★★★ Rapid growth requires significant financing of inventory and receivables.
Earnings visibility ★★★★ Large pipeline helps, but project timing can create volatility.
Risk / reward ★★★★ Attractive if server demand proves structurally higher than before 2026.

22. Foxorox conclusion

ASBIS is no longer experiencing ordinary distributor growth.

The company is participating in a global change in computing infrastructure.

The numbers make this clear.

Foxorox final thesis: The most important change at ASBIS is not simply that revenue is growing. It is what is generating that growth. AI server infrastructure has become the largest product category and is responsible for the majority of incremental revenue. This gives ASBIS indirect exposure to the same AI data-center investment cycle benefiting NVIDIA, AMD, memory manufacturers and server-system vendors. Unlike a semiconductor company, ASBIS does not need to predict which specific processor architecture wins. It benefits when customers build infrastructure. If 2026 net income reaches approximately $180–200 million and even part of the current server demand proves sustainable, ASBIS's normalized earnings power could be materially higher than its historical financial results suggest. At approximately 12× forward earnings under the Foxorox base-case scenario, the current valuation appears increasingly interesting. The principal question for investors is therefore: Is the 2026 AI-server boom a temporary spike, or the beginning of a permanently larger infrastructure business?

Foxorox scenario view

Scenario Net income EPS 15× P/E value Foxorox view
Bear / Conservative $160M ~PLN 10.52 ~PLN 158 Server demand normalizes significantly.
Base $180M ~PLN 11.84 ~PLN 178 Most balanced risk/reward scenario.
